Shion no Ou

Shion no Ou is a TV anime produced by Studio Deen, based on the manga by Masaru Katori and Jiro Ando. It aired on Fuji TV from October 2007 to March 2008 for 22 episodes. The story follows Shion Yasuoka, a girl who lost her voice due to trauma after witnessing her parents' murder at age 4. As she grows into a shogi prodigy, she pursues the truth behind her parents' case.
