A TV anime by Studio Hibari, the second series of "Major" based on the baseball manga by Mitsuda Takuya serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday. Protagonist Goro Shigeno returns to Mifune Town in his third year of junior high. After briefly joining the soccer club, he rediscovers his passion for baseball. The series continues through his enrollment at Kaido High School. 26 episodes aired on NHK Educational TV from December 10, 2005 to June 10, 2006.
