Set at a specialized high school that trains users of "Beatrice," a miraculous substance that responds to human thought, the story follows transfer student Yoshimura Mamoru as he encounters Takasu Ayako, a brilliant heroine who ranks among the world's top Beatrice wielders and is the granddaughter of a prominent politician. A school fantasy romantic comedy that weaves together battles over supernatural powers and sweet-and-sour romance.
