Set in the distant future where two major powers — the Union and the Deague — wage an endless war across space, the story follows protagonist Sara, who loses her best friend due to her brother Ralph's sudden betrayal and disguises her identity to enter the battlefield in search of the truth behind his actions. Revolving around pilots who operate humanoid combat machines called "Strains," the series explores the harsh realities of war alongside the complex bond between siblings. With ethereal music by Youko Ueno, all 13 episodes aired on WOWOW.
