E's Otherwise

E's Otherwise is a TV anime produced by Studio Pierrot, based on the manga by Satoru Yuiga serialized in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy. 26 episodes aired on TV Tokyo from April to September 2003. Kai, a boy belonging to the corporate organization "Ashram" that manages psychics called "Es," wanders into the ruined city Gald during a mission. There he meets Asuka and Yuuki Atsukawa, learns the organization's true nature, and eventually rebels to save his sickly sister Hikaru.
