Scrapped Princess is a TV anime produced by BONES, based on the light novel by Ichiro Sakaki published under Fujimi Shobo's Fujimi Fantasia Bunko with illustrations by Yukinobu Azumi. 24 episodes aired on WOWOW from April to October 2003. Princess Pacifica, declared "the poison that will destroy the world" by the prophecy of Saint Grendel and abandoned at birth, is raised by the Casull family. She flees with her adoptive siblings Shannon and Raquel from the kingdom's army and church, ultimately confronting godlike beings called Peacemakers. Directed by Soichi Masui.
