An action anime produced by J.C.Staff, a TV sequel to the OVA R.O.D -READ OR DIE- based on the light novel series by Hideyuki Kurata. Three sisters living in Hong Kong—Maggie, Michelle, and Anita—possess the ability to manipulate paper as "Paper Masters." After taking a bodyguard job for novelist Nenene Sumiregawa, the sisters become entangled in conspiracies involving the British Library Special Operations Division. The previous series' heroine Yomiko Readman also returns in this epic 26-episode battle over books and knowledge, praised for its creative action scenes using paper as weapons.
