A TV anime produced by Dazzle, based on the manga by PEACH-PIT serialized in MediaWorks' Dengeki Comic Gao!. Set in a world where aliens who drifted to Tokyo Bay on a spaceship have gained Japanese citizenship and are called DearS (meaning Dear Friends). High schooler Takeya Ikuhara rescues a collapsed DearS girl and names her Ren, but she calls him Master and moves into his apartment. Ren learns Japanese overnight with her extraordinary intelligence, leading to a slapstick romantic comedy of their cohabitation. Produced as a UHF anime for 13 episodes (12 broadcast plus 1 unaired).
