A children's anime produced by Sunrise, the first television adaptation of Yutaka Hara's massively popular children's book series published by Poplar. The adventure comedy follows Zorori the fox, who aspires to become the king of mischief, accompanied by his twin boar bandit underlings Ishishi and Noshishi as they travel from place to place causing all sorts of commotion. Despite calling himself a villain, the good-hearted Zorori's endeavors and his encounters with colorful characters along the way provide plenty of laughs. A landmark in children's literature beloved across generations, animated across 52 episodes.
