A short anime produced by TYO Animations, based on the manga by Kira serialized in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret. Told from the perspective of mixed-breed dog Mametaro, the heartwarming comedy depicts the daily lives of his high school owner Ikuko Wakatsuki, her boyfriend Junichi Akiyoshi, and their friends. Mametaro loves Ikuko above all else and views her boyfriend Junichi as a rival. The series warmly portrays both canine romance and the human characters' coming-of-age stories. Notable for featuring theme songs by aiko, each episode runs approximately five minutes, with the second season consisting of 5 episodes.
