A space opera based on the light novels by Hajime Kanzaka. Kane Blueriver, a Trouble Contractor who travels the galaxy disposing of criminals and anomalies, pilots the legendary battleship Swordbreaker together with his partner Canal Vorfeed and client Millie Nocturne to challenge the shadowy crime syndicate Nightmare. Featuring lively exchanges voiced by Megumi Hayashibara and others, the show also drew attention for sharing its backdrop universe with the author's Slayers franchise.
