In a near-future Tokyo, the female officers of the Metropolitan Police's Attacked Mystification Police (AMP) investigate and battle the Lucifer Hawk, interdimensional monsters that invade the city. The show depicts the bonds and pasts of its six distinctive women investigators against a backdrop of supernatural darkness, blending heavy drama with stylish action while reinterpreting some of the original manga's setting for television.
