The second TV season of the anime adaptation of Hajime Kanzaka's light novel series. The sorceress Lina Inverse, swordsman Gourry Gabriev and the mysterious priest Xellos set out in search of the legendary Claire Bible. Blending Megumi Hayashibara's comic banter with a serious and sprawling conflict against the Mazoku, it helped cement the fantasy anime boom.
