Haou Taikei Ryu Knight

A Sunrise fantasy robot anime based on Takehiko Ito's manga, aired on TV Tokyo. Set in the floating-continent world of Earthtear, apprentice knight Adeu Walsh travels with the sentient robot Hagu Hagu, summoned from a tarot-like card called a Mistrot, to battle demons and dark dragons alongside his companions. Blending sword-and-sorcery fantasy with mecha action, it spawned a later OVA series.
