Omakase! Scrappers

An SF comedy anime based on the original work by Monkey Punch, aired on NHK BS2 Satellite Anime Theater. Set in a near-future city, it follows the lively members of a scrap-recycling business called Scrappers as they tackle jobs with robots and gadgets, rendered in the original author's trademark light comedic style. Opening and ending themes composed and sung by rock legend Eikichi Yazawa were another talking point.
