School Ghost Stories: Hanako-san ga Kita!!

The series dramatizes classic school-based urban legends and the seven wonders of a typical school, led by the toilet-dwelling ghost Hanako-san and including tales of the slit-mouthed woman and Beethoven in the music room, all rendered with child-friendly cartoon visuals and brisk pacing. Its self-contained episodes in compact broadcast slots made it a signature title of the Japanese school-ghost-story boom of the mid-1990s.
