A 1994 theatrical anime based on Capcom's Street Fighter II fighting game, distributed by Toei in August 1994. Produced by Group TAC and directed by Gisaburo Sugii, the film follows Interpol and the US military as they join forces to stop a global terror plot by Shadaloo's leader M. Bison, while Bison seeks out Ryu as the world's strongest fighter. Ryu's journey, Ken's brainwashing and the allies' joint battles are rendered in fast-paced animated action, making it a landmark fighting-game anime. Its theme song by Ryoko Shinohara became a double-million-seller hit.
