In 2040, the Super Nova Project to select a next-generation fighter is underway at the New Edwards Test Base on planet Eden, where rival test pilots Isamu and Guld are reunited with childhood friend Myung. When the virtual idol Sharon Apple runs amok, the three characters' pasts and presents collide in a mature ensemble drama, acclaimed for Yoko Kanno's soundtrack and state-of-the-art animation.
