SD Gundam Gaiden: Seikihei Monogatari

A theatrical anime in the SD Gundam Gaiden line of super-deformed Gundam fantasies, screened on March 13, 1993 as part of the Mobile Suit SD Gundam Festival. In a sword-and-sorcery realm, SD Gundam characters take the roles of the mystic warriors known as Seikihei who must rise against an ancient demon king. The film adapts the popular Seikihei card and capsule-toy franchise, compressing the standard fantasy-RPG beats of gathering companions, overcoming trials and confronting a sealed dark lord into a child-friendly runtime.
