A seven-volume OVA based on Masaki Yamada's science-fiction novel, with Pioneer LDC releasing the first volume on March 25, 1993. On the eve of World War II in 1941, Imperial Army officer Taishi Sanada inherits his father's experimental mechanized armor, Kishin, and is drawn into a shadow war between humanity and the alien Reptapoda raging across the globe. Allied American super-weapons, Nazi machines, a transcontinental railway and the mystery of his father's will weave into a dense alternate-history narrative, backed by an opulent orchestral score underscoring the titanic Kishin-versus-Kiryu battles.
