Dragon Half

A two-volume OVA based on Ryusuke Mita's comedic fantasy manga, with the first volume released on March 26, 1993. Mink, the half-dragon, half-human daughter of a retired knight, sets out with her easy-going father Rook and her friends Rufa and Mana to meet her idol, the pop singer Dick Saucer. The story piles up slapstick gags around demon-lord quests, the search for a legendary elixir, schemes of a greedy king and assorted potions and cursed items. The ending song, which sets comic lyrics to Beethoven's Seventh Symphony, became a talking point of the OVA scene.
