Lupin III: Voyage to Danger

The fifth Lupin III TV special pivots to a tense, atmospheric thriller. When ICPO orders a 'Lupin Eradication Directive', Inspector Zenigata is forced to hunt the master thief for real, transforming the usual cat-and-mouse chase into an introspective drama about duty and conscience. As Lupin's gang is drawn into an international plot orchestrated by the arms dealer Kerberos, Zenigata wrestles with his orders, and the story builds to a finale grounded in mutual respect rather than capture. Yuji Ohno's rich jazz score and Eri Ohno's theme song give the special a noticeably weightier mood than the series norm.
