In an original side-story, Yusuke Urameshi tackles a fresh threat to the Spirit World while Kuwabara, Kurama and Hiei face their own rivals in showcase battles tailored to each fighter's strengths. Released at the Toei Anime Fair as a summer holiday short, the film boasts beefier theatrical-grade animation and choreography than the series, and ties everything together with Matsuko Mawatari's TV-series themes such as 'Hohoemi no Bakudan'.
