When the bizarre Highgrade Demon King appears in Kasukabe and 'highgrades' people across the world into stripped-down adults, only Shinnosuke and his idolized TV hero Action Mask can stand against him. Bringing his family and neighbors along, Shin-chan turns the rescue into a hilariously rude superhero adventure that locks in the franchise's signature blend of childish potty humor and surprisingly sincere action heroics, kicking off what would become an annual spring movie tradition.
