The first Sailor Moon theatrical feature, produced by Toei Animation from Naoko Takeuchi's manga. When Fiore, a flower-spirit exiled from Earth long ago, returns and remembers the kindness once shown to him by a young Mamoru Chiba, his lonely jealousy ignites a planetary catastrophe in the form of the parasitic Kisenian flower. Usagi and the Sailor Senshi rally for one of the franchise's most emotionally charged battles, climaxing with a full-team Sailor Planet Attack. Junichi Sato's lush direction, DALI's iconic theme 'Moonlight Densetsu' and the stirring climax track 'Moon Revenge' lift the film well above the TV series in scale and feeling.
