Taiyou no Yuusha Fighbird

The second installment of Sunrise's Brave (Yuusha) robot series, broadcast on Nagoya TV and the TV Asahi network. The story follows Fighbird, a fusion between the Space Police energy lifeform Katori and Dr. Amano's android, as he battles the space criminal Draias's invasion plans while gradually learning what it means to be human. The series balances spectacular transforming-robot combat with heartfelt domestic drama centered on Fighbird's bond with the Amano family, especially young Kenta, and broadened the appeal of the Brave franchise. Yasuko Kamoshita's opening theme Taiyou no Tsubasa, with its bright melody and powerful vocal, captures the protagonist's warmth and unwavering sense of justice.
