A theatrical animation produced by CLAP, based on the manga by Shogo Sugitani [Ningen Plamo] (MFC Gene Pixiv Series / KADOKAWA). Set in the cinema-themed city of "Nyallywood," the film centers on Joelle Davidovich Pomponette ("Pompo"), a young film producer, and Gene Fini, a young man promoted from her assistant to film director, depicting the love and madness of those involved in filmmaking. Directed and written by Takayuki Hirao, with character design by Shingo Adachi and music by Kenta Matsukuma. Voice cast includes Hiroya Shimizu as Gene Fini, Konomi Kohara as Pompo, Rinka Otani, Ai Kakuma, Akio Otsuka, and Ryuichi Kijima. Released theatrically on June 4, 2021, it built a devoted fanbase.
