Fourth anime adaptation of Fujio Akatsuka's absurdist gag manga 'Tensai Bakabon,' produced by Studio Pierrot under director Hiroshi Sasagawa, broadcast on Fuji TV's Saturday evening slot. The series re-imagines the antics of Bakabon's Papa and family with topical satire reflecting the early Heisei era. Coming over a decade after the previous Bakabon anime, it featured a fresh voice cast including Megumi Hayashibara as Bakabon.
