Theatrical anime based on TM Network's concept album 'CAROL ~A Day in a Girl's Life 1991~' and the eponymous novel by Naoto Kine. Produced by Animate Film and Magic Bus under director Tetsu Dezaki as a 60-minute medium-length feature. In 1991 London, the girl Carol notices that sound is mysteriously disappearing from her world, leading her on a parallel-world adventure in 'La-Pa-Le-Pa' to find the cause - a fantasy laced with music. With music by Tetsuya Komuro and TM Network's catalog used throughout, plus distinctive voice casting including Takashi Utsunomiya and Aya Hisakawa, the film became a landmark of band-tied anime.
