99RadioService is a Japanese rock band formed in 2007, based around Tokyo's Shimokitazawa live-house scene. The trio is known for dynamic melodies, a strong vocal presence, and finely tuned arrangements. They gained wide recognition with "YOUTHFUL," the opening theme for the TV anime "Chihayafuru," and returned years later with "COLORFUL" for the third season, providing driving rock anthems to accompany the series' story of high-schoolers pursuing competitive karuta.
