TV adaptation of the popular near-future SF mecha franchise created by Headgear, with production support from Sunrise. In a Tokyo where general-purpose humanoid work machines called Labors are commonplace, the young officers of Section 2, Special Vehicles Unit 2 of the Metropolitan Police use the new Ingram patrol Labor to combat Labor-related crime. The ensemble cast and balance of comedy and realism made it one of the eras defining mecha shows.
