An SF comedy anime produced by Tatsunoko Production, conceived by Tatsuo Yoshida. The first installment of the Time Bokan series. Dr. Kieda's granddaughter Junko and boy Tanpei travel through time aboard the Time Bokan to find the doctor and the giant diamond Dynamond. The rival villain trio Marjo, Grocky, and Walther also seek the diamond, leading to dimensional chases. The series established the foundational formats for the Time Bokan franchise: episodic time-travel stories, villain trios, giant mecha, and mysterious puppetmaster figures. 61 episodes.
