A TV anime produced by Tokyo Movie Shinsha and A Production, based on the manga by Shotaro Ishinomori. Elementary schooler Goemon, descendant of the legendary thief Ishikawa Goemon, uses ninjutsu and friendship to punish daily wrongdoers in this gag anime. Episodes feature school events and family interactions with comedic ninja action. Aired in evening children's slots. Unrelated to Konami's "Ganbare Goemon" video game series.
