A fairy tale anime produced by Tatsunoko Production, adapted from Carlo Collodi's "The Adventures of Pinocchio" (1883). The kind toymaker Geppetto crafts the wooden puppet Mokku, brought to life by a fairy with the dream of becoming human. Through adventures including the nose-growing lie trial, temptations by Fox and Cat, and reunion with his father inside a whale, Tatsunoko presents its signature melancholic and socially-conscious version. 52 episodes.
