Mushi-Uta

Mushi-Uta is a TV anime based on the light novel by Kyohei Iwai published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko, produced by Beat Frog (ZEXCS). It aired 12 episodes on WOWOW from July to October 2007. The story follows teenagers parasitized by insect-like monsters called "Mushi" that feed on dreams and grant supernatural powers. These ability users, known as "Mushitsuki," are tracked and controlled by the government agency SEPB, as they fight for freedom while confronting their own dreams. A dark fantasy action drama about youth.
