An action anime produced by Madhouse, based on the PlayStation 2 gun action game by Red Entertainment. The series tells the epic story of two men—Brandon Heat and Harry MacDowell—whose fates become tragically intertwined. Growing up together in the slums, they rise through the ranks of the Millennion crime syndicate, but the ambitious Harry betrays even their boss Big Daddy to reach the top. After meeting a violent end, Brandon is resurrected as "Beyond the Grave" through the forbidden necrolyzation technology, confronting his former best friend in a fateful showdown. A hardboiled tale of friendship, betrayal, life and death across 26 episodes.
