Mami Ayukawa is a female singer known for robot-anime themes, with an expansive, grounded voice as her trademark. For 'Heavy Metal L-Gaim' she sang 'Kaze no No Reply' and 'Kizutsuita Jealousy', adding fresh colour to the Sunrise robot work. Her signature work came with 'Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam', whose opening 'Z Toki o Koete' and ending 'Hoshizora no Believe' remain beloved as songs emblematic of the series. For 'Metal Armor Dragonar' she also handled 'Yumeiro Chaser' and 'Illusion o Sagashite'. Her vocals, powerful yet lyrical, deepened the worlds of these robot works.
