A singer who performed theme songs for robot anime in the 1980s. His signature work is the super-robot anime 'Rokushin Gattai God Mars,' for which he sang several songs including 'Uchu no Ouja! God Mars,' 'Ai no Kinjitou,' and 'Haruka Naru Toki wo Koete,' helping to anchor the work's world. He also delivered 'Ike! Ikkiman!!' and 'Ikkiman March' for 'GoQ Choji Ikkiman.' He is remembered as one of the energetic voices that colored the golden age of robot anime.
