Isao Taira was an anime-song singer who, with a powerful voice, handled many themes centred on the robot anime of around the 1980s. For 'Invincible Robot Trider G7' he sang 'Trider G7 no Theme' and 'Ore wa Shacho da', and he poured fervour into giant-robot themes such as 'Fukkatsu no Ideon' from 'Space Runaway Ideon' and 'Tate! Baldios' from 'Space Warrior Baldios'. He also performed 'Yokatta ne Uchu' for 'Saikyo Robo Daiohja' and 'Ginga Senpuu Braiger' and 'Sasurai Kid' for 'Galactic Cyclone Braiger', his heroic, grounded vocals supporting these mechanical worlds.
