A collaboration between Isao Sasaki, a celebrated singer of anime theme songs, and the Suginami Children's Choir. For the TV anime of Leiji Matsumoto's classic 'Galaxy Express 999,' they performed the sweeping opening 'Ginga Tetsudou 999' and the lyrical ending 'Aoi Chikyuu,' bringing warmth and power to young Tetsuro's journey across the stars with Maetel. Their work continued on the related 'Glass Claire' production. The blend of Sasaki's robust solo voice with children's chorus gave the epic galactic voyage its musical signature.
