Columbia Yurikago Kai

Artist

A children's chorus exclusive to Nippon Columbia that took part in many television anime themes from the medium's earliest days. With its energetic children's singing as its hallmark, it lent its voice to a wide range of works regardless of genre, from the opening 'Big X no Uta' of 'Big X' based on Osamu Tezuka's manga, to the opening and ending of the early SF anime 'Tatakae! Osper', the adventure tale 'Boken Shonen Shadar', and the second opening 'Tarirariran no Konyanyachiwa' of the comedy anime 'Ganso Tensai Bakabon'. Having also handled 'Pyun Pyun Maru', 'Hazedon' and 'Science Ninja Team Gatchaman F', the chorus long supported the music of Showa-era anime with its bright, lively sound.
