Megumi Mori (actress)

An actress and singer from Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, born in 1969. She began her career in 1984, appearing in television dramas such as Chi Kyodai and Katte ni Shiyagare Hey! Brother, and was a frequent presence in period dramas including Abarenbo Shogun and Sanbiki ga Kiru!. As a singer, her seventh single Yume Miru Jikan (1989) was chosen as a theme song for the Fuji TV anime Kiteretsu Daihyakka, and its B-side, Feruto no Pen Case, was used as an ending theme. Her clear, translucent voice suited the gentle everyday tone of the series. She retired from entertainment in 1996. She is a different person from the singer-songwriter Megumi Mori (singer) of the same name.
