An actor and dancer from Hyogo Prefecture. He studied dance across many genres from the age of five and made his full stage debut at fifteen. As a Cultural Envoy for Japan's Agency for Cultural Affairs he was based in Israel with the Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Pollak Dance Company and performed across Europe. Pursuing physical expression that emerges out of relationships, he works across disciplines in Japan and abroad, and has won numerous film awards as an actor. He is also involved in founding and running an artist-in-residence programme in Kobe. On the image song po-ai feat. Mirai Moriyama for the TV anime THE GHOST IN THE SHELL, he sings lyrics written in the original language that music director Taisei Iwasaki built through dialogue with AIs.
