Mami Kawada is a Japanese female singer affiliated with the music production collective I've Sound, who built her popularity on rock-leaning anime theme songs. She is widely recognized for "Hishoku no Sora," the opening of Shakugan no Shana, and also performed "JOINT," the opening of the sequel Shakugan no Shana II (Second). She further handled back-to-back openings "PSI-missing" and "masterpiece" for A Certain Magical Index, and the Aokana: Four Rhythm Across the Blue opening "Contrail ~Kiseki~," leaving behind many signature tracks with her driving, high-velocity voice.
