Sonar Pocket is a Japanese male vocal group formed in Nagoya as a three-member unit, specializing in straightforward, heartfelt love songs, message songs, and graduation anthems. The members handle their own songwriting, and their steady grassroots approach built up through live shows and meet-and-greets has earned them a loyal fanbase. They performed Start Line!, the ending theme of the NHK anime Danchi Tomoo, and Best Friend, the opening theme of the TV anime Nijiiro Days (Rainbow Days). Whether capturing the warmth of family life or the bright emotions of high school friendship, their songs bring an honest, uplifting energy that fits slice-of-life stories beautifully.
