Yukimura Sanada is one of the powerful Master Samurai heroines in the TV anime Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride, the ecchi-action sequel to Samurai Girls in which legendary historical samurai are reimagined as beautiful young female warriors in an alternate-universe Edo Japan. Based on the real-life Sengoku-era hero Sanada Yukimura, the anime's Yukimura is a tiny but fiery warrior whose skill with the blade far outstrips her diminutive stature, and her fierce, impatient personality makes her one of the series' most entertaining characters. She is voiced by Rie Kugimiya, a Japanese voice actress famous for her iconic portrayals of petite, sharp-tongued heroines across countless anime. In character, Kugimiya joins her co-stars on the ending theme "Kekkyoku, Guuzen de Sourou," a group character song performed alongside Yagyu Jubei and Tokugawa Sen. The track is a fun, in-character musical moment that remains a highlight of the Samurai Bride soundtrack.
