Rinjin-bu ("the Neighbors Club") is a character-name unit drawn from the voice cast of Haganai: I Don't Have Many Friends (Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai), the anime adaptation of Yomi Hirasaka's light novel series. In the story, a group of social misfits at a Catholic high school band together to form a club dedicated specifically to making friends, with results that range from hilarious to heartbreakingly earnest. The unit gathers the actresses behind those would-be friends: Marina Inoue, Kanae Ito, Nozomi Yamamoto, Misato Fukuen, Kana Hanazawa, and Yuka Iguchi, each voicing one of the core members. Singing fully in character, they perform the opening theme "Be My Friend" and the ending theme "Bokura no Tsubasa" for the second season, Haganai NEXT. Their blended performances capture the off-kilter camaraderie that defines the club, turning each song into another hangout session with the awkward misfits at its heart.
