Masumi Ito is a Japanese female singer-songwriter and composer. Active as a member of the units Oranges & Lemons and heart of air, she has carved out a singular place in the world of anime music together with Yoko Ueno and other collaborators. Defined by her crystalline vocals and pastoral songwriting, she provides songs for both openings and endings, centered on Lantis-affiliated works. For the TV anime Red Data Girl she handled the ending theme "Yokan," giving voice to the show's dreamlike atmosphere with her soft, gentle singing.
