μ's is the in-show school idol group attending Otonokizaka High School in the school idol anime Love Live! Within the story, the nine-member group — led by cheerful protagonist Honoka Kousaka — forms to rescue their beloved school from closure by competing in the national Love Live! idol tournament, and their journey from amateur beginners to national stars anchors the entire franchise. Off-screen, μ's also exists as a real-world voice-actress unit composed of the nine performers who voice the characters, and they perform the group's songs in concert as the characters themselves.
