SHISHAMO is a girls' three-piece rock band formed in a Kawasaki high-school light-music club, with Asako Miyazaki (Vo/Gt), Aya Matsuoka (Ba) and Misaki Yoshikawa (Dr). Miyazaki writes every song. With plain-spoken lyrics capturing the shimmer and confusion of youth and an up-tempo sound, they are loved as a national girl band and have written Jibun Kakumei (OP, Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku).
