SHISHAMO is a girls' three-piece rock band formed in a high school light-music club in Kawasaki, Kanagawa. Vocalist/guitarist Asako Miyazaki writes all of the songs, capturing the small moments of youth in plain language. With their up-tempo sound, they are loved as one of Japan's national girl bands.
